It is a legal requirement for a Market Trader to have a valid Public & Products Liability policy in place, not only to obtain a trading licence but also to protect the public in the event of any accident or injury caused whilst trading. Our Start-Up Insurance is a 'ready made' policy, specifically designed for the Retail Market Trader who is new to the business and just about to start a career in market trading. These policies provide basic, yet essential cover for a whole year.

I need a new job.

I am an instructional assistant in an elementary school. I really like my job. But, I get paid crap and I'm afraid that my position will not exist next year.
Are there any jobs in retail, where I can set my own hours/days?
I was thinking PT at starbucks, trader joes or whole foods.
Any other ideas?

Trader Joe's Planned for Castro

What do folks think of this? I know Castro is rather anti-chain store, but TJ's seems to have a good reputation, a chain store with a mom-and-pop feel to it. Traffic congestion would likely be very bad (proposed store is the corner of 15th/Market, the old paint store), but they would bring jobs (albeit retail) to the neighborhood.
To me, this is part of the changing Castro and the maturing gay community, where bars are becoming less important and, as the community settles down more, general, non-gay-specific consumables are becoming more important.
But even if it opens, I'll still go to the one in Millbrae

  • Avatar Amberly How does insurance work when you total a car?
Oct 25, 2010 by Amberly | Posted in Insurance & Registration

My husband totaled our 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer today because of the ice. It's a $30,000 car, but we owe about $17,000 left on it. Does the insurance pay off what we owe, or do they just pay what it's worth? By the way, ou …ave full coverage.
Haha wasn't an evo, just the regular Lancer. The thing that sucks the most is he is up in Washington visiting family and I am in Oregon, and I can't even be with him during this time. Poor guy :(

    • The insurance company doesn't care how much you owe on the car, that isn't their problem. They are only obligated to pay the actual cash value of the car.
